CHAPIN, S.C. (December 16, 2024) – Chapin Commercial Construction announces the completion of the new Aquarius Spa and Salon at 113 Virginia St. in Chapin, South Carolina. Owners Marie and Joe Keeton, the wife-and-husband duo that founded the business in 2005, recently celebrated the milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the grand opening.
“From starting in a 1,000-square-foot farmhouse to many wonderful years in the Robinson-Hiller House and now moving into this beautiful new facility, it’s been an incredible journey,” says Marie Keeton, owner and president of Aquarius Spa and Salon. “This expansion allows us to enhance our services while preserving the charm our guests love. We’re grateful for the support of the Chapin community and to Chapin Commercial Construction for bringing our vision to life.”
Chapin Commercial Construction worked closely with the Keetons to ensure the 5,000-square-foot facility complemented the adjacent historic Robinson-Hiller House, Aquarius’ former home for 17 years.
“Contributing to Chapin’s growth is deeply meaningful to us,” says Chad Lindler, founder and president of Chapin Commercial Construction. “We’re proud to play a role in constructing a beautiful new building that allows Aquarius Spa and Salon to expand their services and provide an enhanced experience for the community we’re proud to call home.”
The new location doubles the size of the previous space and features massage therapy, facial and medical aesthetics treatment rooms; a head spa; spray tanning amenities; a luxurious hair salon; dedicated nail area; and a “serenity” room for guests to relax between services. The facility also features an expanded retail area with lotions, creams, cosmetics and accessories, allowing guests to continue their spa experience at home.
“Our goal has always been to provide exceptional service while preserving the warmth and hospitality that makes Chapin special,” says Keeton. “We’re excited for what’s ahead and thrilled by the positive feedback we’ve already received from our clients.”
