Chapin Commercial Construction is a family-owned and operated licensed general contracting company with more than 20 years of experience in the building industry. The company, located in Chapin, South Carolina, specializes in commercial construction services across a wide range of industries throughout South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee.

Chapin Commercial is one of the most reviewed commercial construction companies in South Carolina, and through its quality work has helped spur the growth of its clients and the region through new construction of restaurants, retail centers, automotive facilities, offices, industrial buildings, religious structures and athletic facilities.

Meet the Team

Husband-and-wife-duo Chad and Caroline Lindler founded Chapin Commercial Construction to provide reliable and accountable construction teams in South Carolina.

Chad Lindler

FOUNDER + PRESIDENT

After graduating from Clemson University, Chad entered the commercial construction workforce, working in the field with laborers, carpenters, steel erection crews, site superintendents and other tradesmen. That experience gave him a foundation and knowledge base that can’t be gained from behind a desk.

From there, Chad began estimating, bidding and managing projects — which he has continued to do for more than two decades. Chad’s commercial construction experience includes industrial, retail, restaurants, auto dealerships, offices, religious facilities and medical facilities.

Caroline Lindler

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

With over 20 years of experience in accounting and finance, Caroline has worked with publicly traded and privately held companies in industries such as construction, real estate, banking, agriculture and manufacturing. As Chief Financial Officer of Chapin Commercial Construction, she leverages expertise gained from managing her own CPA firm – becoming a subject matter expert on small business and construction accounting.

A Clemson University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Caroline began her career in Washington, D.C., where she obtained her CPA license and worked as an auditor for the federal government and a real estate investment trust (REIT). Now residing in Chapin, S.C., with her husband Chad and their two daughters, Caroline remains actively involved in her community, serving in leadership roles at St. Jacobs Lutheran Church. When not working, the family enjoys farming, hunting, fishing and managing their property.

March 18, 2024Chapin Commercial Construction Builds New Headquarters for Heavy Iron Cranes in Lexington, S.C.

The 20,000-square-foot facility, situated on a nearly eight-acre site, will combine Heavy Iron Cranes’ two offices and repair shop into a single location, which will feature modern interiors and adherence to the latest energy-efficient building systems and thermal envelope.

“My employer- a developing company that is housed within a Dental Management Company, hired Chad for the design and construction of a new 7,000 square foot retail shell with a 2,902 square foot Dental office upfit. As the in-house architect for a development company that is based in Southern California, I knew that we needed someone who could coordinate and construct the project from conception to completion, that was local to the area to handle this project at the speed we like to have them built. Chad handled the entire process from budgeting, the plan design coordination with his local architect and consulting engineers, as well as obtaining subcontractor and supplier input to ensure that the project stayed on schedule and within budget”
